This is the smallest of the meat/serving platters by Theodore Haviland in their “Ganga” pattern featuring a basket of flowers on a white background and trimmed in gold with one liquid reservoirs on an octagonal shaped plate. Possibly peonies, daffodils and cherry blossoms in rust, yellow, pink and blue. This piece dates from the 1920s and is very fine Limoges china. Please see my listings, I have other pieces, including a huge platter, from this set available. (See photos for comparison.)
Size: 11.5″l x 8.75″w x 1.5″h
Condition*: Excellent, no chips, staining or cracks, not even a utensil scratch, it looks unused. The gold trim on the rim has some wear and there are a few spots on the surface which appear to be popped air bubbles from manufacturing.
